Crafting Area Supplies

I have often been asked, “Wait, what? You use that as a crafting supply?” And yes, there may be some supplies that are considered odd for paper crafting!   Among all the pretty things we use to make our projects and cards, sometimes there are a few helpful and handy items that need to be at arm’s length.

For me, my ruler is never far from my workspace!   And to be honest, I usually have several as they seem to get buried as the craft time progresses.   I have recently discovered a small T-square ruler and that has helped significantly with photo placement.    I have used the small sticky notes but with the use of the T-square, I am able to plan and use my photo space better.

Sometimes, I will spend a crafting session organizing for a larger project.   When I am doing this, I will use assorted sizes of plastic bags and binder clips.  Again, grabbing those sticky notes, I will label the size and number of the parts in the bag.

Last quick tip, two items always in my workspace or when I go for a crop.  Microfiber cloths will remove any excess glue to keep your product clean and stick free.   As for the hand sanitizer, so many uses!!   I never use it directly on stamps but if I over stamp on my workspace, get ink on fingers or in a total disaster of dropped ink on my clothes, sanitizer to the rescue!

More crafting supplies will be shared in the weeks to come ~

Until next time, be creative!
